- Waxing Moon (Getting Fuller): The plant juices flow upward. It's the best time to feed the leaves and shape the plants.
- Full Moon: The juices are at their peak. It's the best time to take fresh cuttings.
- Waning Moon (Getting Smaller): The juices flow down to the roots. It's the perfect time to feed the soil.
When we harvest our sun-grown cannabis, we almost always do it during a waning moon. The plant has less water weight, which makes the buds dry better and keeps the tasty oils packed tight.
The Four Types of Days #
In biodynamic farming, the calendar is broken into four types of days based on the stars:
- Root Days: Good for dirt work.
- Leaf Days: Good for watering and growing big leaves.
- Flower Days: The absolute best time to pick the weed. The smells and oils are at their strongest.
- Fruit Days: Good for saving seeds.

Super Compost #
